Natural Home: Easy DIY Cleaning

 

When cleaning my home I've always bought the 'greenest' low tox household cleaners from the supermarket or have opted for the doTERRA cleaning concentrate. To be honest the idea of DIY cleaning seemed to be just another job on the list! Recently I've really dived into DIY Cleaning and LOVE making up my batches of cleaning bottles. It's WAY simpler than I ever imagined and are 100% natural and safe for the whole family. (Yep, the kids use them too). 

Here are my top 3 cleaning recipes I use in my home:

- Always use certified pure essential oils. I choose doTERRA Essential Oils. 

- Always use glass bottles, as some properties in essential oils will break down the plastic, which can destroy the oil and often cause leakage. 

- Most supermarket cleaners use toxic chemicals that can cause a range of medical conditions. These simple DIY recipes are a very safe alternative. 

- Safe and natural cleaners for your family, also means a safe and healthy environment and water ways. Most toxic cleaners go into our waterways and pollute our environment. Another great reason to go natural!!
