Business Books for Women - November
/If you've been following along for a while now, you'll know that one of my favourite things to do is to read books! I basically cant go past a book shop without coming out with a new stack of books!
Lately I’ve had some requests for book recommendation, so I thought Id share with you all what I’ve been reading.
My November reads were:
Align & Attract by Kerry Rowett,
Get Rich Luck Bitch by Denise Duffield Thomas
and my fiction for the month was truly madly guilty by Liane Moriarty.
Heres what I thought;
Align & Attract by Kerry Rowett
I’ve been following Kerry on social media for a little while now. She's a kinesiologist that works with entrepreneurs. When I ordered this book and realised you could print off a little workbook that goes with it, it was like all my nerdy dreams had come true.
When reading personal development books, I like to have a notepad and pen handy to write my thoughts down, so this was perfect. Align and attract is perfect for anyone feeling ‘stuck’ in their business or just want to get some clarity on how they want their business to look and feel.
It was a great book and exercise for me at this stage of my business as I was able to take a step back and really see where I want to focus my energy on my business in 2019. I recommend this book if you're prepared to put in the work and really reflect on your business and you'll get super clear on your direction.
Get Rich Luck Bitch! by Denise Duffield Thomas
I’ve been a massive fan of Denise for years now and often share her content and ideas with my team. Denise coaches women on their money mindset to support them to make the money they deserve. When I saw this book had been released, I actually thought that I wouldn't get much out of it as I feel I have a really great money mindset. But following a recommendation from a friend, I thought Id give it a read.
I loved reading all the stories and examples of the super rich, celebrities and lotto winners that all had money blocks. My favourite exercise was decluttering my money stories and practising forgiveness. It was amazing how many money stories were still lurching from the past.
I highly recommend this for anyone that has any type of money blocks (which may just be all of us)? Especially women entrepreneurs that feel that money is bad/evil/you will change if you get money/ that you don't deserve to be rich ect ect. Time to ditch those thoughts by reading this book!
Truly madly guilty by Liane Moriarty
A few months ago my local book store lady recommended a book by Liane and now I'm obsessed. Truly madly guilty is my forth book by Liane (in a couple of months) and it didn't disappoint.
Like every good book, the suspense keeps you wanting to read more to uncover the mystery. This book pulled on the heart strings big time and prompted me to do an update on “something”. I wont give it away, you'll understand what I mean at the end. (I recommend you do the same update ;) )
I will always recommend all Lianes books, which leads me to my December stack! More Liane!
Want to join me in my monthly reads?
Grab one or all of these and we can read along together!
I’ll share my December reviews next month.
