I’m Kim Reid
I am the Founder of an online course that supports online entrepreneurs to create systems for flow in their business. The Freedom Blueprint is a global opportunity to create the systems to earn while you sleep, play and create a beautiful life!
Team, leadership and joy are the lifeblood of my business, and in under two years I experienced a complete lifestyle transformation, including quitting my executive job, travelling with my beautiful 3 children and husband for 6 months on the road and growing my business to multiple 6 figures.
2 years later and I built a global 7 figure company that focused on business and leadership development. I’ve worked with hundreds on entrepreneurs around the world and love nothing more than helping others rise to their full potential.
My journey started with a single step forward to make a change that would impact my entire life. If you’re hearing that soft whisper or gentle nudge inside, I’d love to support you.
“One day your life will flash before your eyes.
Make sure it’s worth watching”
- Gerard Way
For me creating flow in my life & business means Im not struggling or feeling icky about it. It means I have clarity and vision for what Im actually doing. I know exactly what I need to do to get to where Im going. Everything just flows.
This doesn't mean that I'm not challenged or getting out of my comfort zone, because that is still part of being in flow. But I know exactly why Im doing that thing and although it may be a little scary, it excites me.
I want to get a little vulnerable with you and share two defining moments with my anxiety and the nudge that I needed to make a big change!
The first was in 2014 and I was at my office job and I had a few challenges at work. It was just before starting doTERRA and I was **desperate** to quit my job to be home more with the kids. I was completely burnt out and had an anxiety attack. I wasn't really sure what was happening. I actually thought it was a heart attack and I took myself into the emergency department.
I love so many things about Winter, the cosy vibes. Think blankets, oodies, Uggs, netflix, reading books all snuggled up, fires and the snow!
Winter Wellness for me is holistic and includes focusing on my mental health. Here are my top winter wellness tips.
may have a slight obsession with sticky notes. Sticky notes are my favourite way to do a massive brain dump of all the ideas I have in my business. Then I organise them into themes and then I create an action plan. My action plan includes tasks and dates to achieve them by.
Then I do it.
I wanted to share you the exact process we went through to create our 2019 Business Action Plan.
First we did a SWOT analysis of our business. We all had a pile of sticky notes and I went through a series of questions to identify our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats to our business. Each idea was written on a sticky note.
Did you know that I'm EXTREMELY introverted. The type of introvert that would be more than happy alone in a cabin, faraway in the mountains. With books. And wifi. But I don't think my family would be up for that haha.
I get asked how I built my business to be a multiple six figure organisation while being so introverted and to me, its simple. My DREAMS were bigger than my FEARS. Trust me, my fears were huge. But my dreams and determination to get there were so much bigger.
I've always had entrepreneurial tendencies. At 18 when I moved to Melbourne and started working for a nanny agency, I started working on plans about how I was going to create my own agency and by the time I started managing childcare centres, I was looking around for potential sites to start my own. But as an entrepreneur by heart, an entrepreneurial mindset is critical for those wanting to start their own business.
Feel like you need to add in a little joy and spark into your business? My favourite way to bring joy into my business is well.......gratitude. Seems pretty simple and a little bit fluffy, BUT trust me it works.
I was listening to a podcast by Kerwin Rae and he was speaking with an entrepreneur who had lost his wife. One of the most difficult things that could happen to anyone and he was still able to practice gratitude. He expressed how he was just so grateful to have ever met her and had her in his life.
I didn't do much over the Christmas break, but I did however READ! I read these five books in the second half of December while I had a bit of a phone detox! I took all my social media apps off my phone and only jumped on at night while doing a little bit of work.
A phone detox opened up loads of extra space for reading and of course spending time with the family. Want to know what I read?
Being brave can be hard. It means putting yourself out there. Being vulnerable. Being brave enough to use your voice for things that matter to you can be one of the hardest things you do.
